Every action causes a reaction in the opposite direction, after which energy is released with the potential to generate motion. This group exhibition, which opens the Museo Tamayo's 2026 exhibition program, emphasizes the power of action, and addresses how the vital drive of movement also generates collective synergy.

In a progressive context of paralysis and in the midst of a tendency towards immobility derived from automation and the use of new technologies in activities of daily living, the biological need to move the body is ignored. Physical activity accompanies the instinct for survival in the human species, in animal species and other organisms. On the other hand, moving in a systematic and uniform way generates perhaps involuntary choreographic lines.

The exhibition brings together works by Mexican and foreign artists from different generations that invite the spectator to rediscover the power of moving individually and accompanies the will of collective movement. When body movement does not generate a physical trace and disappears, what is the evidence of bodies acting?
