In the last edition of Jazz Nights in 2025, the guest is Adrian Chaillou Quartet. The group was born from the reunion of Chaillou, a French saxophonist and composer based in Paris, with Mexican and Chilean musicians. Their repertoire is mainly composed of original works, although they also present some jazz standards. Throughout the numerous collaborations that have brought them together over the past 20 years, pianist Roberto Blanco, double bass player Luri Molina, drummer Hans Ávila and Chaillou have developed a complicity and a joy of playing together that is naturally transmitted to the public. Chaillou's music is inspired by composers such as Wayne Shorter and Frank Zappa, as well as by the more traditional jazz repertoire, among other influences.

Adrian Chaillou. Musician and composer with a unique career. Trained from childhood on classical saxophone, he discovered jazz at the age of 11 with his mentor Hal Singer, who introduced him to improvisation and the history of this music. From a very young age, he played in diverse groups that encompass jazz, rock, blues, hip-hop and raï, developing an open and intuitive stylistic approach. After studying with Éric Barret and later with the Belmondo brothers, he co-founded Onda Road with Jacques di Costanzo and undertook a four-year journey through Europe, Cuba, Mexico and the United States. This journey nourished his music with multiple influences. Later established for five years in Mexico, he collaborated with Arturo Sandoval, Cheick Tidiane Seck, Ed Calle, Diego Maroto, Kiyoshi Kitagawa, Aarón Cruz, Gabriel Puentes, Luri Molina and Natalia Lafourcade. He recorded the album Meetings (NomadMusic), which combines original compositions and reinterpreted repertoires. Back in France, Adrian continued his artistic projects between creation, collaborations and concerts, always guided by a deep musical curiosity and a taste for encounter.
