Jazz Nights is a program with more than 20 years of experience dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of jazz in Mexico City. Throughout this time, it has established itself as a platform that offers musical experiences for audiences interested in contemporary art and music.

Tommaso Perazzo. Pianist, composer and organist. Born in Italy, he currently resides in New York where he is an active member of the jazz scene. He has collaborated with musicians such as Buster Williams, Lenny White, Miguel Zénon, Fabrizio Bosso, Flavio Boltro, Gregory Hutchinson, Wayne Escoffery, Nico Gori and Francos Bearzatti, among others. He has won prizes such as second place in the prestigious competition Keep an Eye International Jazz Award with his trio and first place as best solo artist, as well as the Massimo Urbani International Award. He has performed at various festivals such as Umbria Jazz, Torino Jazz Festival, Peperoncini Jazz Festival, Guimarães Jazz, Moana Jazz and Bimhuis. His most recent jazz project is the trio with double bass player Buster Williams and the talented Neapolitan drummer Marcello Cardillo, with whom he recorded the album Portrait of a Moment, produced by the historic Italian record label Red Records and presented by the trio with a six-concert tour at various festivals in the Italian Peninsula after its publication in May 2025.

He will be accompanied in this performance by Argentinian drummer Pedro Cervera and Mexican double bass player Benjamín García. His repertoire ranges from the great composers of the classical and romantic period to 20th century and contemporary music, with special attention to the Italian piano tradition, which has earned him praise for the clarity of his phrasing, the depth of his sound and his ability to build coherent and captivating musical itineraries.

Event organized in collaboration with the Instituto Italiano de Cultura de Ciudad de México, within the framework of the artistic residencies of Italian jazz musicians.
