A World in Pieces, One World

The artist Rita Ponce de León participates in the group exhibition The Gesture and the Invisible with the triptych A World in Pieces, One World, made from watercolor and collage, resources used to capture listening experiences and encounters. After wandering around the museum, the participants, the artist and Tania Solomonoff will find themselves in the room where the work is located. The group will read the collages together through movement, speech and play.
To participate in this workshop, you only need to register in advance and bring comfortable clothes on the day of the session, but specialized knowledge in dance is not required.
Rita Ponce de Leon. She is a visual artist. As an essential part of his work, she participates in situations that allow him, through learning processes, to establish frank human bonds, which, potentially, is what the body provides. She has practiced various types of dance; she is currently training in somatic education and in psychobody therapy.
Tania Solomonoff. She is an artist in dance, performance and visual arts. Her work focuses on research on the intersection of disciplines and processes of creation, identity and transculturality, somatic practices and collective memory. Currently, dance, performance, therapeutic and somatic techniques, audiovisual and graphic media are integrated into her production, as well as the coexistence of consolidated and ongoing works in interaction with specific communities.
